The Steel Yard is pleased to announce that the 7th Annual Cruise Night will be held on July 13th from 5:00 – 9:00pm. This unique event is more than a simple display of chrome and horsepower, but is also an important part of the Steel Yard’s Works in Progress fundraising event series.
Each year, this family friendly event has consistently grown larger, bringing classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts together from throughout the region in an old school rendezvous and show off. The 2012 Cruise Night will include over 70 custom and classic vehicles, in an evening of polished chrome, greasy grooves from the Colonel, raffle prizes, studio tours, and food sold by the famous Haven Brothers.

The Steel Yard is and industrial arts non-profit with a two-acre campus located at 27 Sims Avenue on Providence’s West Side. Its mission is focused on economic revitalization through creative means. With over 9,000 square feet of workshop and studio space, including a metalworking shop, ceramics studio, and glass and blacksmithing departments, the Steel Yard offers an array of exciting classes and work-shops.
