The Armory Arts Center hosts the 2nd annual Arts Marketplace this Saturday and Sunday.
. . . an exhibition and sale focusing on fine art and craft by regional artists. The Arts Marketplace is a juried show whose mission is to present the best of contemporary fine art and American-made crafts. The Drill Hall is the perfect venue to highlight the extraordinary quality of art and craft by artists working in a variety of media. In addition, nearby Pawtucket Arts Festival events will include music, demonstrations, and many other family events. There is ample parking and a beautiful view of the Blackstone River from the nearby Morris Nathanson Bridge.
Look for ceramics, photography, jewelry, glass, textiles, furniture, and (seen here) Amy Lassman working in fiber. Go here for list of exhibiting artists.
Free, 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th, Armory Arts Center, 172 Exchange Street
