Student Exhibition At Bell Gallery

jordan bell Now through February 2nd, the David Winton Bell Gallery and the Department of Visual Art present the work of forty four outstanding student artists in the 34th Annual Brown University Student Exhibition.

Organized by students Anna Muselmann and Todd Stong, the juried exhibition is open to all Brown University students, regardless of major, and encourages artists to submit work in a variety of media. This year the exhibition includes installation, video, kinetic sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, print work, and artist books. The work addresses a range of critical themes from current political upheavals across the globe to technological innovations and personal explorations. This extensive survey of the visual arts at Brown highlights the dynamic ways in which students are engaging and redefining the arts today.

A closing reception will be held Saturday, February 1st from 6pm to 8pm. (Steampunk lamp and webcamera by Jordan Bell)
