RI Brew Fest

RI Brew Fest (2.1) The Pawtucket Armory will host the second annual winter Rhode Island Brew Fest in two three-hour sessions this Saturday — 40 breweries, 125 beers. Gail Ciampa has it covered in today’s ProJo.

Not only will some excellent breweries be on hand sampling their products, but it will be the first chance to taste the beer of Rhode Island’s newest breweries — Proclamation Ale Company from West Kingston and Whaler’s Brewing Company of Wakefield.

Proclamation is days away from local distribution, said Matt Gray, whose company, Gray Matter Marketing, has planned the Feb. 1 Brew Fest at the Pawtucket Armory. Whaler’s just got its license.

Live music by Brian Twohey and King Friday. New this year is the food court: chili, cupcakes, etc. For ticket info go here.

1pm to 4pm/5pm to 8pm, Saturday, February 1st, Pawtucket Armory, 172 Exchange Street, Pawtucket, directions
