According to the Wild Colonial website the quizzes are starting earlier. Compete for cool prizes and cover yourself with glory. Categories might include current events, local stuff, Irish history, the Kennedys, Jimmy Cagney movies, Samuel Beckett, the Corrs, Brian Boru, Liam Neeson movies, the Chieftains, Tammany Hall, blarney, blarney and, more blarney! You never know! (But the week before St. Patrick’s Day you kinda know.) It always ends in a 12-question audio music category. The rules are explained as you go along, so form a team of one to four people and just show up. Swell prizes for win, place and show.
