Make Providence An Instant City

The Providence Polaroid Project is a new installation on Westminster Street (where Craftland used to be).

The Providence Polaroid Project is an interactive gallery space and Polaroid Camera Shop. For 5 weeks this summer, participate in our project and help build our gallery walls with your own instant photography.

Come inside and browse our extensive camera collection, take a free portrait with a 1971 Big Shot camera, and then borrow one of our 5 pack film cameras and head outside to capture the people, style and soul of our city.

A final gallery show will take place on August 21st to celebrate the results of the project. There will be music, food and drinks, as well as the opportunity to take your original Polaroid portraits home for free. There are two levels of participation, one free. More at the ProJo.

Wednesday through Sunday, Providence Polaroid Project, 235 Westminster Street (at Union Street)
