Elorza Plays The Columbus

(10.23) And it’s free. The good people over at the Columbus Theatre have organized a great night of music (natch) but they also have an agenda — one that involves the future of Providence. This event will present an opportunity for Democratic mayoral candidate Jorge Elorza to share his message and vision for Providence; and hopefully help to educate younger voters, and newcomers to the city, on the horror that is Buddy Cianci. Live music includes;

Black Pus, Low Anthem, Medusah Black, Death Vessel, Roz Raskin, more tba

AND, each band will ask Mr. Elorza a question between sets! Emcees Peter Glantz and CJ Jimenez will run the show. Also, food trucks and an exhibit of local artists curated by Rachel Blumberg. Facebook event page.

If you can’t make it, go here to learn more about how you can help elect Jorge Elorza for Mayor.

Free, doors 7pm, show 7:30pm, Thursday, October 23, Columbus Theatre, 270 Broadway, (directions)
