Martin was a writer for “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and a contributor to “The Daily Show,” where he appeared as “Senior Youth Correspondent.” In 2009 he hosted and starred in his own show on Comedy Central, called “Important Things with Demetri Martin.”
An unconventional comic who has cited the deadpan Steven Wright as an influence, Martin sometimes incorporates drawings and music into his act.
