Suddenly it’s all about this place. Ogie’s Trailer Park is the latest restaurant, bar, and beer garden in the West End/Armory area. And it is incredibly photogenic, particularly the swell interior with mid-century modern lighting fixtures, furnishings, and kitsch. A sweet Serro Scotty guards the front door. We can’t find a menu online, but they seem to be serving cocktails, burgers, and simple diner grub . . . and late.
Westminster Street is becoming an outdoor patio mecca, running the spectrum from Loie Fuller to the Scürvy Dög. (Summer is better in the city — you can sit outside at night.) Ogie’s — operated by Daniel Becker, owner of the Duck and Bunny on Wickenden Street — is just past, and on the same side of the street, as the future home of Pizza J as you head out of the city. It’s getting good over there.
Ogie’s (Are we calling it OTP yet?) will be closed this week on Wednesday and Thursday, but they are open now. Cocktails and food until 1am.
