(1.31) Tickets are selling fast for the third annual Rhode Island Brew Fest — ‘Session One’ is already sold out. Here are the vital statistics: 200 beers; 55 breweries; 0 kids; 0 babies; 0 pets. Just a few hours of sudsy, hoppy, grownup fun. Gail Ciampa notes that Rhode Island will be fronting fourteen breweries this year.
As has become tradition at this event, beers from brand new breweries will be offered for the first time publicly. This year Rhode Island’s new Crooked Current Brewery will be pouring Oatmeal Raisin stout for the first time outside their brewery.
Foolproof will be pouring their oyster-chocolate collaboration Shuckolate which is not yet released.
Narragansett is bringing their HP Lovecraft-themed Honey Ale, which just hit stores.
