Night Football At Brown — Governor’s Cup

(10.3) The Brown University Bears (0/2) and the University of Rhode Island Rams (0/4) face off at Brown Saturday in the 100th Governor’s Cup. WPRI ran a little thing.

Brown and Rhode Island have met 99 times, dating back to 1909, with the Bears holding a 71-26-2 series advantage over the Rams. Last year, Brown earned its fourth straight win over the Rams, 20-13, in Kingston, RI to retain the Governor’s Cup. In 2010, Rhode Island came away with a 27-24 win in overtime over the Bears at Meade Stadium.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo will make the presentation of the Governor’s Cup to the winning team at the completion of the game.
