Spooky Movies At Columbus This Weekend

Get in the Halloween mood this weekend at the Columbus Theatre with two spooky movies.

Friday night there will be a midnight screening of the 1985 comedy/horror “Return of the Living Dead.”

And return Saturday night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of “The Grateful Undead.” Filmmaker Patrick May writes,

In 2007, Allen Riley and I set out to create a feature-length horror movie complete with social commentary on the 60’s and 90’s; we borrowed RI public access equipment and a handful of local amateur actors to make it happen.

We premiered the movie to a packed house at the Columbus Theatre. Now, ten years later, we are returning to the Columbus Theatre for a special anniversary screening.

Tickets are available for purchase online, at the Dean Hotel (no service fee box office at the front desk open 24/7), or the Columbus Theatre box office (no service fee) every Friday from 4pm to 6pm.

‘Return of the Living Dead,’ midnight, Friday, October 27

‘Grateful Undead,’ 8pm, Saturday, October 28, Columbus Theatre, 270 Broadway, (directions)
