Local 121 Equipment Closeout Sale Starts

Everything must go! This sale will run for 10 days. I’d suggest sooner rather than later. (Facebook event.)

We’ve got everything from fancy furniture and heavy duty kitchen equipment down to forks and knives and light fixtures and sconces. Come grab a piece of 121 nostalgia while supplies last!

We accept cash, cards, and money orders. We do not accept checks. Items cannot be reserved and must be paid for in full in order to be held.

If the weather is bad, we will adjust hours. Please watch the discussion on this event for updates.

Daily hours: Noon to 6pm, starting Monday, March 19, and running through Wednesday, March 28.

And again — big thanks to Nancy and Josh for the role they played in bringing this gorgeous building back to life and providing the perfect venue for so many good times. (The Dose launch party was held in the Tap Room upstairs. I watched Obama’s inauguration and danced to the Figgs downstairs in the Speakeasy. I gaped discretely at Richard Gere as he dined with Lasse Hallström just tables away in the dining room.)

The ProJo wrote up the March closing. The photo of the bar may help give you ideas.

Noon to 6pm, Monday, March 19 through Wednesday, March 28, Local 121, 121 Washington Street, (directions)

  1. I’ll miss it. Local 121 was a magnet for out-of-state visitors, for whatever reason. It was a fine drink and meal that welcomed many to Providence.
