The Foundation first brought the Philharmonic to Roger Williams Park to celebrate its Centennial in 2016. A new feature this year will be seating in the “bowl” area directly in front of the stage. There will be chairs for about 150 people. It’s open to the public, but it is first come, first served.
Big thanks to the Rhode Island Foundation for this free concert and for its recently concluded multi-million-dollar campaign restoring Roger Williams Park. Improvements have included upgrades to the park’s entrances, and new signage and repairs to the Museum of Natural History, the Bandstand, and the Casino.
Per the regulations of the Providence Parks Commission, dogs and skateboards are prohibited in the park.
