Athenaeum Orientation & Tour

(9.13) Edgar Allan Poe roamed these stacks. Now you can learn all about Poe and his courtship of Providence poetess Sarah Whitman, and discover the many other treasures of the Providence Athenaeum (look a these old children’s books). Just being in this building makes me happy.

The library is open to the public, but only members can sign out books and materials. Go here for more on the Providence Atheneum Orientation and Tour.

Drop in to learn about the Providence Athenæum, meet the staff, and ensure you’ll be able to make the most of your experience at the library! Potential, new, & longstanding members welcome. Registration is much appreciated.
