(9.19) The September Geeks Dinner will feature Scott Cornell, lead architect for Trilix, an application development and systems integrator — gain transparency into critical business information through dashboards and reports! Yeah, I don’t know what that means, but if you do know what that means then head down to AS220 this Wednesday. (Facebook event.)
Scott will talk about how Trilix helps companies reach a heightened level of workplace excellence with technology as an accelerator. Scott has more than 20 years of development experience, with specific experience in full-stack development and business application design. In his talk, he’ll spend some time on the state of mobile cross-platform development tools, from cross-platform frameworks for mobile platforms (IOS, Android, UWP) to alternatives to native tools like Objective-C/Swift and Java/Kotlin. You’ll learn about Framework7, Flutter, Xamarin, NativeScript, React Native and more.
The event itself is free. Beverages and food are for sale at AS220’s bar and restaurant. Doors open at 5:30pm. Socializing, eating, and drinking up until the 15-minute presentation and Q&A at about 6:30pm. After that it’s back to socializing, eating, drinking. Wear whatever, bring whomever, arrive and take off whenever. Come famished or full — eating is optional.
