(5.3) The Music Mansion continues its First Fridays series with pianist Donald Berman performing 20th- and 21st-century music, including the premiere of “Twiff” by David Rakowksi. (Facebook event.)

Pianist Donald Berman has been on the front-lines of new music scholarship, performance, and recording for over 30 years. . . He is recognized as a chief exponent of new works by living composers, overlooked music by 20th century masters, and recitals that compellingly link classical and modern repertoires. . . Donald is Chair of Keyboard Studies at the Longy School of Music of Bard College and on faculty at Tufts University.
