The winners of $6,000 in cash prizes will be announced this Sunday when the Providence Art Club opens their National Open Juried Exhibition. This show, featuring 65 artworks by artists from throughout the United States, runs through July 19.
This show received over 730 individual entries from over 300 artists. Works in a wide range of media will be displayed, including paintings, prints, photographs, textiles, sculptures, glass, and mixed media work. Thirteen members of the Providence Art Club and a number of local artists were accepted to this show. This exhibition is a unique opportunity for non-members to exhibit at one of the nation’s oldest arts organizations.
Gallery hours are weekdays 12-4pm, weekends 2-4pm. Always free and open to the public.
