Woony Benefit Fun Ride(s) At Dash

Dash Bicycle on Broadway will be hosting a bike ride for the benefit of the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. Rides begin and end at Dash Bicycle. Ride options are 10/20/40 miles. Helmets required.

Seen here is Dash owner Leo. I love Leo’s T-shirt but it is no longer in stock. I am hoping they bring it back because I want one. Leo and Joe will be holding down the fort on Sunday, while Alex and Mitch will be out riding.

This event is a fundraiser for the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council. We will have ~20mi and ~40mi routes, as well as an option with an easy turnaround so riders of all levels have a chance to experience the local greenway, and do some good for a local non-profit that works hard to improve the quality of life for all members of our community. Rolling kickoff in groups from Broadway at 9:00 sharp.

For those who want turn-by-turn directions on a mobile device: download the Ride Spot app, by People for Bikes, ahead of time (https://www.ridespot.org). Or, stop by the shop and pick up some ‘loop’ cards of the Sunday rides and other rides around the state (see below). Collect them all!

How to enter: a suggested donation of $25, or any amount that you are willing/able to give. Food and refreshments will be generously provided by Nice Slice Pizza, Trinity Brewing, Floyd’s of Leadsville, and more.

9am, Sunday, September 29, Dash Bicycle, 228 Broadway, (directions)

The Nitro Bar shares the ground floor.

You can’t miss it. (They used to be in a different location, across the street.)
