‘Bach To The Future VII’ At Manning

(11.9) Bring your blankie. Everyone’s favorite all-night Bach marathon returns this Friday. Hosted by Community MusicWorks, Bach to the Future VII kicks off Friday night at 7pm, and they do not stop until 7am Saturday morning. (Facebook event.)

Classical and non-traditional/experimental musicians, including members of the MusicWorks Collective, pass the baton of Bach from dusk ’til dawn in this annual event. Bring a blanket and pillow, and come and go as you please. Coffee will be brewing!

Classically trained musicians share the card with more experimental interpreters like Laurie Amat, House Red, and Assembly of Light. It’s a good mix. A complete schedule is posted at both of the above sites and they keep to it.

Evan Raczynski has taken the 6:55am slot and will provide the final note.

Free, 7pm, Friday, November 8, Manning Chapel, 21 Prospect Street, (directions)
