(1.15) Head over to the state house library Wednesday afternoon when the Environment Council of Rhode Island (ECRI) holds its annual coffee hour. (Facebook event.)
Coffee Hour is an opportunity for Rhode Island’s environmental advocates and activists to meet legislators and set the agenda for a strong year at the State House. We’ll hear about the environmental community’s 2020 policy priorities from ECRI President Priscilla De La Cruz ; we’ll also hear about Rhode Island climate impacts and the urgency of climate action from our guest speakers.
ECRI is a coalition of organizations and individuals formed in 1972 for the purpose of developing and advocating policies and laws that protect and enhance Rhode Island’s environment. Go here for a list of ECRI member organizations.
(Give yourself a few extra minutes for gaping in wonder at the library ceiling.)
