(5.15) Help wanted. The staff of the Roger Williams National Memorial is recruiting volunteers to help prepare flower beds and plant flowers. The memorial will provide gloves, trowels, and supplies. It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing for working outdoors. (Facebook event page.)
To protect the health of those who live, work, and visit our national parks and facilities. . . face masks are now required in all National Park Service buildings and facilities. Masks are also required on NPS-managed lands when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
According to the RWNM website the visitor center and restrooms remain closed until further notice. No retail sales at this time. It would appear that they have been taking advantage of the quarantine with some rehab on the building.
