RISD Museum Reopens

Hooray. The RISD Museum will finally be open to the general public. Faculty and students have had it all to themselves for long enough . . . the people need their paintings and ceramics and textiles and that adorable little Egyptian paint box.

We are re-opening on June 13. We can’t wait to welcome you back.
Experience new exhibitions and additions to the collection. Enjoy refreshments from Bolt Coffee at Cafe Pearl. Stay late on Thursdays and Fridays. We’ll be doing everything we can to keep you safe.

Visitors and staff will be wearing masks. Go here for the protocols. You are encouraged to reserve a ticket in advance.

Museum hours: 10am to 5pm, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; noon to 7pm, Thursday and Friday.

Admission is free on Chase Free Sunday (10 am–5 pm) and Free After Five Presented by Chase on Thursdays and Fridays (5–7 pm).

Opening day, 10am to 5pm, Sunday, June 13, RISD Museum, 20 North Main Street, (directions)
