Lovecraft Film Fest

[Update: Sunday’s events have been canceled.] In the midst of this time of truly horrible horror, let’s take a break for the fun stuff . . . the fantasy horror. And here comes a whole weekend of it: The Lovecraft Film Festival features three days of films, authors, and special events.

Friday Aug 20: Films 7-11 pm
Saturday Aug 21:
Films 12-4 pm/Author readings at the Arcade 5-6 pm
Films 7-11 pm/After Party (location tba)

Sunday Aug 22: Carbload for Cthulhu/Author readings 11 am-noon/Films 1-5 pm

We are happy to report that festival sponsors Lovecraft Arts & Sciences Council still have their wonderful brick-and-mortar shop downtown in the Arcade. (Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5pm. Masks are required.) They have an online store as well.

All events at the Columbus Theatre will require valid proof of full Covid-19 vaccination for entry (partial doses will not be allowed entry). No exceptions.

Lovecraft Festival starts Friday, August 20, Columbus Theatre, 270 Broadway, (directions)
