Machines With Magnets Is Back

Signs of life began a few weeks ago and suddenly, there’s an art show at Machines With Magnets. We stopped by the Main Street sidewalk today and the portraits in the windows will probably be easier to see at night. The gallery was not yet open.

INSIDE/OUT |  OUTSIDE/IN is a series of artist portraits by Robert W. Easton. Part of @artleagueri’s Windows on Pawtucket project, “a ‘walking’ gallery tour that fills empty windows on Main Street and beyond with more than 35 artworks by Rhode Island artists. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many art galleries and museums have been forced to close. This project is intended to bring art to residents, visitors and local businesses.”

This exhibit expands on Windows on Pawtucket with some works visible to passersby on Main Street in addition to a full solo exhibit in the gallery itself.

We consider this venue (and Pawtucket in general) part of the Providence music scene and hopefully those bookings will start soon. In the meantime, welcome back MWM! Glad you made it.
