WFAC Joins Gallery Nights

The WaterFire Arts Center (WFAC) will now be a stop on the 2022 Gallery Night Providence (GNP) route. In addition, the WFAC will be a ‘starting’ point for one tour each month; visitors will be able to get on a guided trolley (and occasional walking) tour taking them from the WFAC to two to four other galleries and art spaces including those in the Valley neighborhood.

The GNP tour that starts at the WFAC this Thursday, March 17, will leave at 6:30pm, arriving back at about 8:30pm. (There will be three other guided tours leaving from The Graduate at different times the same night. Or take yourself on a self-guided tour.)

The Gallery Night Providence trolley tours visit select galleries throughout the city on the third Thursday of every month from March through November.

Masks you asks? The photo used here was taken at some time in the past: Currently, mask wearing is required on the trolleys and at all indoor events at the WFAC. Additional announcements on masking will occur in accordance with CDC recommendations prior to each GNP date. Who knows, with the numbers dropping, and the weather warming, and the windows opening . . . we should be able once again to travel around with big smiles on our faces.

Pre-registration for a trolley tour is recommended.
