[Update: No more books needed! They reached their book drive goal in two days.] It’s time for spring cleaning, with or without the spring weather. Maybe those stacks next to the bed are getting dusty. Or maybe you already got to sorting and culling during the quarantine, but the boxes had nowhere to go. Good news! The Providence Public Library wants your books.
If you’ve got books — or boxes of books! — that you’re looking to part with, swing by PPL from May 9 – 14 and drop them off in our fabulous Book Donation Bin in the Lobby at 150 Empire Street. All books collected will be included in the PPL Friends Committee’s first in-person book sale fundraiser since 2019! (Save the date: June 14.)
- Coffee table books about gardening, art, and travel
- Beach reads
- Cookbooks

- Children’s books
Drop-off runs through May 14, Providence Public Library, 150 Empire Street, (directions)
