Fred Kelley Scholarship Concert At Bell Chapel

(5.22) The annual Fred Kelley Scholarship Concert takes place Sunday at the Bell Chapel. MusicWorks Collective musicians join forces with tenor Frank Kelley in this dynamic event to benefit student scholarships to Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music.

Frank Kelley, tenor, has appeared with opera companies throughout the world, including the Peter Sellars productions of Die Sieben Todsünden, Das Kleine Mahagonny, Cosi fan tutte, and Le Nozze di Figaro.

This year’s event presents Franz Schubert’s song cycle “Die schöne Müllerin / Fair Maid of the Mill” arranged for string quartet and voice featuring Frank Kelley, tenor, with MusicWorks Collective musicians Sarah Kim and Minna Choi, violins; Jesse Holstein, viola; and Miguel Vásquez, cello.
