(8.2) Where do Rhode Island’s candidates for governor stand on the state’s most pressing environmental issues? Head over to Rhode Island College this Tuesday for the Gubernatorial Forum on Environment and hear from the candidates about their plans for addressing climate change, creating green jobs, protecting our resources, and other environmental issues facing the Ocean State.
Six candidates for Governor will participate, including Gov. Dan McKee, Nellie Gorbea, Matt Brown, Helena Buonanno Foulkes, Luis Daniel Munoz, and Ashley Kalus.
Ed Fitzpatrick of the Boston Globe will ask questions and moderate the discussion. The RI Forum on the Environment is sponsored by the Environment Council of Rhode Island and Climate Jobs RI, with support from Rhode Island College.
