The Steel Yard has been seeking volunteers to make art for the annual Halloween Iron Pour. Called Fab Nights — fabulousness? fabrication? — the meetings take place every Wednesday and Friday, from 6pm to 9pm, until October.
Be sure to wear work clothes, closed toed shoes, gloves (if you have them), and bring a water bottle and snack! Be prepared to get your hands dirty and make something truly impressive!
No experience necessary. The next Fab Night is Wednesday, August 31.
Maybe you should think about getting serious about this; there are some great courses coming up in forging, blacksmithing, welding, ceramics.
