Fearless Fish Market On Hope Street

Finally, a seafood store on the East Side! Fearless Fish Market on Hope Street opened for business today and owner Stu Meltzer is looking forward to serving this new neighborhood. News travels fast — the place was empty when I arrived, but by the time I had purchased my yellowtail flounder, it was filling up with customers and well-wishers.

His reputation precedes him and many of these people are thrilled they will no longer have to drive over to the first West Fountain Street location, which will continue to serve the west end.

Go to the website to order online, find out ‘how to cook fish,’ buy merch or a gift card, or access the all-important ‘fish list.’ They have it all: whole fish, fillets, shellfish, several sushi-grade options, and tinned specialty items.

Hours: Tuesday thru Friday, 11am to 6pm/Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Fearless Fish Market, 721 Hope Street, 401.537.7979, (directions)
