The PPL Tour

(3.22) Spaces still available at the time of this writing: The Providence Public Library invites the public to take a tour of the main library downtown. If you have yet to check out the changes and upgrades, you are in for a wonderful surprise. The choices they made in design and decor — wall color, railings, benches, as well as this exterior canopy and sign — were impeccable. And the flow and way-finding have all been improved.

We’re excited to share our newly renovated Library with you! Join us for a tour of our brand new Empire Street building, now open and waiting for you to explore. We’ll also tour our historic 1900 building.

That historic part of the library is now a serious event space available for weddings etc.

There are more tours on the schedule (see the drop down menu). And there are still plans to reschedule a grand opening celebration; the original date ran smack into the quarantine.

Free tour, 11am to 12:30pm, Wednesday, March 22, PPL, 150 Empire Street, (directions)
