This lighting of eighty braziers from Waterplace Park to Memorial Park on South Main Street is supported by the Rhode Island School of Design who will be holding their commencement in the morning. (Don’t forget to tell your parents that this whole thing started as an art installation. You, too, can have a life in the arts . . . although, if you have been living in 15 West you may have to manage your expectations a bit.)

The Steeple Street Music Stage will feature Funkademic from 8pm to 11pm.
Funkademic is a musical ensemble based in Providence, Rhode Island that plays funk, soul, and R&B on period-correct instruments. Founded at Brown University in 2019, Funkademic’s groove erudition runs deep. “We serve the 1, one B-side at a time.”
Trinity Brewhouse will have two locations along Canal Street this season: Brews on Steeple Street and wine on Washington Street.
