Pollinator Party At Davis Park

(9.30) The Davis Park Community Garden will be hosting a Pollinator Party this Saturday. Come connect with nature in the city and learn how to encourage pollinators around your home. All ages welcome. What to expect:

  • Explore the pollinator meadow and community garden with URI Master Gardeners
  • Learn how to grow native plants from seed
  • Go on a wild bee walk with an insect scientist
  • Learn about honeybees with a beekeeper
  • Pollinator story time, planting activity and more for little ones
  • Giveaways and surprises!

The Pollinator Party is a collaboration between RI DEM Division of Fish and Wildlife, Davis Park Community Garden, Mount Pleasant Library, URI Cooperative Extension and the URI Master Gardener Program.

(The easiest parking is up along Chalkstone Avenue across from the school.)
