(10.11) Thayer Street will be closed off between Bowen and Angell Streets Wednesday from 4:30pm to 8:30pm for the third annual “Taste of Thayer.” This year, 20% of each ticket purchase will go directly to the RI Community Food Bank. Gail Ciampa has the details:
There will be live music at four locations, outdoor seating with picnic benches added to the streetscape and activities for kids.
. . . A map of participating locations providing food samplings and special retail discounts will be provided at ticket pick-up. That is at a will-call location outside the Brown Bookstore on Thayer Street on the day of the event.
Tickets cost $23 for adults, $15 for college and high school students, and $7 for children aged 10 and under. Students must show a current student ID to secure the reduced price ticket.
Go to Thayer Street PVD to buy tickets.
