Providence Art Club — Little Pictures Sale

(12.23) The annual Little Pictures Show and Sale is up now through December 23 at the Providence Art Club. Give the gift of original art while supporting local artists. The building on the left is Dodge House; the building on the right is The Clubhouse. Both sides have lots of little pictures and 3-D work for sale, from $100 up. They have risograph prints, oil on board, oil on canvas, photography, mixed media, cyanotype, digital illustration, acrylic and yarn on canvas, ceramics, encaustic, papier mache, and one altered book (see below).

First held in 1904, the Little Pictures Show & Sale is the oldest and largest exhibition of its kind in the United States. This year, the beloved tradition turns 119 and continues to be a strong source of pride for the historic Providence Art Club. The show will feature over 600 works of art sized at 16” x 16” or less and priced at no more than $350.

Show and Sale open to the public runs through December 23, Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas Street, (directions)
