Comedy Coming Up — Nate, Wanda, Marc, Lewis

First up we have two shows with Nate Bargatze this Saturday, February 24, at the AMP. Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” (He was born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, for crying out loud.) His most recent stand-up special “Hello, World!” is available now on Prime. I love this guy. More at Nate Bargatze. (His last name is three syllables.)

Sunday, March 3 at The Vets — Next up is Wanda Sykes who I also love and who needs no introduction. If attending this performance of her Please and Thank You tour, understand this: No Cell Phones Allowed! I really love her.

Anyone who brings a cell phone will be required to place it in a locked pouch. Everyone is subject to a pat down and wanding. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. [I will gladly assist in this endeavor. BC]

Saturday, March 9 at The Strand — Marc Maron of the IFC series Maron, GLOW, several stand-up specials, and his always entertaining podcast WTF. Go here for tickets to Marc Maron: All In.

Thursday, March 21 at The Vets — Let’s all go get screamed at by Lewis Black when his Goodbye Yeller Brick Road, The Final Tour lands at The Vets. If you don’t know who this man is by now, this show is not for you . . . and what the hell is wrong with you???!!!!!
