Empire Guitars Spring Cleaning Sale

Empire Guitars on North Main Street will be holding its annual Spring Cleaning Sale on Friday, Saturday, and Monday, in-store only. “Everything is priced to move — all sales final on red tag clearance items.” While guitars are not included in the sale, what the store calls “unfinished guitar projects” are. We stopped in and asked Travis for clarification:

Only guitars that need a lot of repairs, and guitar necks and guitar bodies. It’s mostly just overstock items or cables, straps, pretty much anything “guitar.”

Follow Empire IG if you enjoy gorgeous photos of guitars. From the flier:

Those of you who have been with us for some time will remember the pre-covid days when every February we would clear out unfinished guitar projects, spare parts, used accessories, overstock new pedals and other miscellaneous clearance. Think half yard sale, half flea market

Fun fact: Comedian Marc Maron stopped in last month while in town for a show. On a previous stop, he had purchased a guitar at Empire (which he talked about at length on his podcast) but this time he just stopped in to say hello. Another satisfied customer.

Seen here is the store entrance on Ninth Street.

Spring sale, 9am to 6pm, April 13, 13 & 15, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Empire Guitars, 1271 North Main Street (directions)

Just because the guitars aren’t on sale, doesn’t mean you can’t buy one.
