Outdoor Flea Returns — District Park

(6.2) The Providence Flea will take over its new spot in the 195 District Park on the west side of the river this Sunday. You know the drill: vintage, artisans, and makers. And food and beverages. (The new site will be across the river from its previous location on South Water Street.)

The Flea has also become a popular foodie destination with its rotating lineup of food trucks, bake shops and other purveyors. To add to the community atmosphere, local farmers and non-profits are also featured at each market.

The Flea is always free to enter. No tickets are required. It is easily accessible by public transportation and offers plenty of free, on-street parking on Sundays.

Sundays through September 15. Rain or shine. Follow on Instagram.

  1. That’s a nice spot. I hope someone can help raise some awareness about the oncoming 10 story building going to plopped right next to it!Also,I hope folks are/become aware that the waterfowl are harmed by being fed human-made food, and that is why there’s a law in RI to stop that. It feels ‘nice’ to “feed the animals” especially for children-the bread and human food is literally killing off the already endangered Waterfowl. IF you can’t resist, at least give them greens, which is what they eat, not seed or bread.
