‘Parlour On The Block’

(6.22) The Parlour will be holding an all-ages block party this Saturday from noon to 8pm (after which time it turns back into a bar, open until 2am). This is a family-friendly event with face-painting, henna, touch-a-truck, arts and crafts for the kids, and lots of music including in no particular order:

The Skatalites, the Z-Boys, the Quahogs, Sidy Maiga, the Hammer Party, Akrobatik, Sharks Come Cruisin, Slurp, Delko, Bars Over Bars, and the Benji’s.

The Parlour hopes to shine a light on two major local issues: the continuing impact of the opioid crisis and the planned revitalization of the North Main Street Corridor. They have invited local officials to attend.

Parlour on the Block, noon to 8pm, Saturday, June 22, The Parlour, 1119 North Main Street, (directions)
