Discover the birds of Roger Williams Park during morning bird walks on Wednesdays in September. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to travel just over a mile, sometimes off-trail. Bring binoculars if you have them.
The walk meets in front of the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium. The museum itself will be closed on these dates, and no museum facilities will be available to participants. Bird walk schedule for September includes the 11th, 18th, 25th.
Note from the museum:
The museum is temporarily closed through November 2024 for renovations and improvements to the museum and planetarium. Museum will reopen to the public in late November. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to our new and improved facilities.
(There’s probably a bird in this picture somewhere. Or there will be shortly.)
