(12.21) Join DJ-JD and Batboy Slim a.k.a. the What Cheer DJs this Saturday when they join forces with the 75orLess Community Radio DJ crew to bring stacks of wax and pounds of sounds to Myrtle for their Holiday DJ Party. This pair have a massive collection of holiday albums, but don’t be surprised if JD slips a little Cure in there for what ails you. Batboy has the details:
What Cheer is celebrating 26 years in business with a free holiday party at Myrtle in East Providence along with the 75orLess Community Radio DJ crew! Expect holiday cheer, cocktails and mocktails from the bar at Myrtle, and last minute holiday-related goods / records / decorations / etc. from What Cheer and maybe a selection of our Rock + Roll Yard Sale vendors.
Can’t wait? Then go to 75orLess Community Internet Radio and listen to last week’s What Cheer DJ show “Ho-Ho-A-Go-Go!” featuring Bill Monroe, Run DMC, Kitty Wells, Hank Snow, James Brown, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and more.
(The 75orLess Community Radio Network is a series of commercial-free radio shows that are posted every day of the week and remain online for streaming or download for one month.)
DJ Holiday Party, 2pm to 5pm, Saturday, December 21, Myrtle, 134 Waterman Avenue, (directions)
