Our Hands Off! march begins at Hope High (staging pre-march on the fields) then heads down to Kennedy Plaza opposite the federal buildings to make some noise. Do whatever part of the route you can, or just join in downtown.
We’re taking to the streets to fight back with a clear message: Hands Off! “They are taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.”
Our Hands Off! march begins at Hope High School, heads down Thayer to Waterman, and down the hill to Kennedy Plaza. The route is an estimated 1.2 miles. Do whatever part of the route you can.
This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.
Bring signs that reflect what you want this odious administration to get their HANDS OFF. Signs can be made on anything — cardboard, posterboard, a pizza box, paper — whatever you want. Want to make a banner? Go for it. Want to hand out signs before we start? Go for it. Host a sign-making party at your house with friends you know are going.
The AFL-CIO, the state’s largest labor union, is on board, joining the fight alongside SEIU 1199 and NEARI. Our congressional delegation has been invited.
