Last spring I was delighted to learn that Starbucks would no longer be the only coffee house on Thayer Street. An independent establishment, Blue State Coffee, was on its way. Or at least that’s what it looks like, per my late-nite stroll through downtown. Downcity has moved about two blocks east of its previous location — still on Weybosset St, but it’s now across from the Turk’s Head building.
