The Punchbuggy Tour featuring Liz Baillie, Ken Dahl, MK Reed and Sally Bloodbath will do their thing at Ada Books tonight. Brent at Ada describes it thusly,
These talented comics artists will, and I quote, “be reading from [their] comics and performing a song or two, as well as providing a live acoustic soundtrack”. There will be big sheets of paper for them to draw on plus a slide show of some kind. I imagine I might have some sort of drinky drinks on hand to iron out any social static cling. You should totally come and check it out. Totally.
7pm, Wednesday, Punchbuggy Tour, Ada Books, 717 Westminster Street, 432.6222
And there is live music tonight at AS220 with the Lexingtons, Amoretti, Apollo’s Prophets, and Riff Parade.
$6, 9pm, Wednesday, AS220, 115 Empire Street
You could probably do both.
