(3.4) Interested in learning more about AS220 Industries? Please join us for our monthly open house on Tuesday. Staff and members will be doing demos using the laser cutter, letterpress, and offset press, and will be available to answer your questions.
This month we are gearing up for the 20th Anniversary of the Paul Krot Community Darkroom, so we’ll be offering tours of the darkroom on Empire Street. Meet us over at the industries space in the Mercantile Building and we’ll walk you over to the darkroom.
We will also be doing a demo on the laser cutter that foreshadows another upcoming event, our Building AS220 Community Meeting on March 24th. We will be laser cutting cinder blocks and turning them into magnets for you to take home.
Stick around for the Media Arts Lecture at 7:30pm. This month features May Babcock our papermaking instructor. AS220 Industries is located at the Mercantile at 131 Washington Street, 1st floor. The entrance is located at the back of the building on Lucie Way aka Martha Street.
