(10.12) New parade route this year! Pronk reclaims the streets with brass, beats, and feet!
We are a cacophonous street celebration with out of town brass bands! We are a street intervention like no other, with outfits and misfits from Rhode Island and beyond – musicians, artists, activists, makers, and groups from around Providence – taking over South Water Street as part of the Providence HONK Parade.
3pm to 5pm — Pronk Burnside Park. Bands bands bands!
What Cheer? Brigade, Drumadics, Black Out Drum Squad, Detroit Party Marching Band, Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band, and more.
5:30 to 6:30pm — Pronk Parade down South Water Street.
6:30pm to 10pm — Pronk After Dark. Fox Point hurricane barrier/Hot Club.
