(12.5) The annual Latin Carol Celebration takes place Monday evening at the First Baptist Church on North Main Street.
Members of the community are invited to the Department of Classics’ 69th annual Latin Carol Celebration with preludes and accompaniment by University Organist Mark Steinbach. The program will include a rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas by the Chattertocks student group and will feature a special arrangement by the Brown Madrigal Singers. Performances will be presented in Latin with English translations available. In celebration of the upcoming holidays, President Christina Paxson and members of the classics department will deliver seasonal readings.
