(5.6) Lots going on Saturday at Roger Williams Park. The Providence Flea and food trucks will occupy the Dalrymple Boathouse lawn from 11am to 3pm. Live music by Joe’s Backyard Band.
But the Roger Williams Park Celebration goes on all day. Just a sampling of what’s on tap:
9am: Free yoga in the morning at the Temple to Music. Or free bird walk.
10am: Christopher Ackley, member of the Roger Williams Park Conservancy Board of Directors, will lead a Jane’s Walk. Learn about the history, venues, sculpture, and landscape of the park.
1pm: Free tennis lessons.
2pm: Free guided trail walk.
FREE ADMISSION ALL DAY at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center and Museum of Natural History and Cormack Planetarium.
