Trinity Rep, in partnership with Rhode Island Latino Arts, announces the second year of its program Shakespeare en el Verano (Shakespeare in the Summer).
This year’s production premieres a new bilingual English-Spanish adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Adapted by Brown/Trinity Rep MFA student Marcel Mascaro and co-directed by Mascaro and Trinity Rep’s associate artistic director Tyler Dobrowsky.
Two performances this weekend: Friday at 7pm, South Providence Library/Sunday at 7pm, the Steel Yard. More to come.
