Bilingual Shakespeare July — Romeo And Juliet

Trinity Rep, in partnership with Rhode Island Latino Arts, announces the second year of its program Shakespeare en el Verano (Shakespeare in the Summer).

This year’s production premieres a new bilingual English-Spanish adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Adapted by Brown/Trinity Rep MFA student Marcel Mascaro and co-directed by Mascaro and Trinity Rep’s associate artistic director Tyler Dobrowsky.

Two performances this weekend: Friday at 7pm, South Providence Library/Sunday at 7pm, the Steel Yard. More to come.

Thursday, July 27th at the Armory Farmer’s Market at 7 pm
Monday, July 31st at Mixed Magic Theater at 7 pm

Admission is free.
